Well 2 weeks after I turned 43 I have finally joined slimming world!
Weight - 11stone 8.5
Height - 5ft 2
BMI around 30
Me - well married, mother of 2 children, both in primary school. Work in the NHS. Spend my life running around after the kids. Hate housework and exercise! Snack too much on the wrong things and i really need to change what I am doing.
aim to get fitter and lose 2.5-3 stone, most of it by the time we have a big holiday in China at Easter next year.
Hoping for the help and support of my husband and i have got to discipline myself to stay away form chocolate and biscuits and only have them as an occasional treat.
Why SW? well lots of people I work with have/are doing this and are having a lot of success, and if i don't make myself go to be weighed every week I'll never lose this weight.
AM .hoping that my weight comes off round my tummy and thighs and NOT my boobs, i like them the size they are!!
Well I'd better get reading what I need to be doing, and think not diet, changing to healthy eating!!
